IN ADDITION TO MENTORING GROWTHPOINT PROPERTIES’ SECURITY SERVICE PROVIDER, EASY SECURITY SERVICES, AS PART OF OUR ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT, iMVULA QUALITY PROTECTION ALSO INVESTS IN CORPORATE SOCIAL PROGRAMMES, ESPECIALLY THE NURTURING ORPHANS OF AIDS FOR HUMANITY (NOAH) PROJECT (REG NO 021-901-NPO), WHICH PARTNERS WITH COMMUNITIES TO CARE FOR AIDS ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN. NOAH IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATION COMMITTED TO BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF SOUTH AFRICAN COMMUNITIES TO CARE FOR CHILDREN THAT ARE ORPHANED OR MADE VULNERABLE BY AIDS.

THEIR KEY OBJECTIVES ARE:
  • To empower disadvantaged communities to take care of their own children
  • To assist these communities in meeting the basic needs of children – food, shelter, warmth and comfort
  • To provide strategic assistance for the education of children in disadvantaged communities
  • To develop care centres into sustainable independent entities
  • To provide a safe haven for children
iMVULA QUALITY PROTECTION IS ALSO INVOLVED IN VARIOUS OTHER CORPORATE SOCIAL INVESTMENT ACTIVITIES SUCH AS THE PROVISION OF FREE SECURITY GUARDING SERVICES TO THE AVRIL ELIZABETH HOME FOR HANDICAPPED CHILDREN.

IN ADDITION TO OUR MONTHLY DONATION AND CARE PROVIDED TO NOAH WE HAVE HELPED THE FOLLOWING ORGANISATIONS:
  • Readers Are Leaders: Sponsored stationery for a reading drive in the North West Province 
  • Tshwane Home of Hope: Donated electric appliances for the girls’ dormitory in Pretoria
  • Sefikeng Primary School: Donated school bags for underprivileged school children
  • Al Noor Orphanage Cape Town: Donated stationery for school children
  • Action For The Blind: We are responsible for school fees for a Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Wheelchair Bound) girl, who is studying Pastel Accounting.
  • Donated uniforms, stationery and school bags for 60 children at Oliver’s House
  • We completed a project with Guide Dogs SA, sponsoring design and print for stickers which will be used in malls to alert and educate people on Guide Dogs 
  • We were host employer for 10 disabled learners who went through the Call Centre Learnership on behalf of SASSETA.

INTERNALLY, OUR EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME (EAP) ACTIVELY INVOLVES ITSELF IN:
  • A housing scheme allowing our Business Unit Managers to own their own homes
  • Medical assistance including HIV and Aids medical assistance programmes
  • Trauma counselling
  • Career advancement by means of fully paid external study programmes
  • Annual performance bonuses for all staff
  • Focused internal development and promotion programmes for employees
  • Continuous self-funded Learnership programmes with a current intake of 1500 security officers being upskilled to the National Certificate: General Security Practices, NQF 3 of SASSETA
